The Beast…

July 7th, 2008 by Christopher McCulloh

This kicks off a new blog feature. We’ll see how long it lasts. Each day I’ll post a sketch I did that day. This is more for me than anything. I’m going to try and commit to doing at least one setch per day to try and exercise my artistic skill. I’m no where near where I want to be, and I’m trying to remedy that. My long term goal is to draw a comic. Probably based on the book of Acts, but I’m not sure yet…

Did you do this on a dry erase board? Because if so, you’re talented. Every time I try to draw with dry erase markers I end up erasing what I’ve already drawn when I touch the felt of the marker on a spot I’ve already marked, and the marker itself becomes the eraser. Know what I mean? Gosh that’s annoying.

Yerp. That’s a dry erase board. You have to have good markers. I think our board my be greasy since it’s a table and since everyone uses their hands to erase stuff, which might help too, but idk. That’s also where I drew my giant maze of death (not sure if I’ve posted that yet).

Is that a sweltering sun in the background? If so, it looks hazy and awesome.

Lol, dang it… I wish I could say I drew that, but unfortunately that was the light above me reflecting off of the whiteboard table I was drawing on…

I wondered if it was a camera flash or something.
I’ll just pretend you drew it. :)
